Dale Szymanowski

 

Dale moved to Texas In 1981 after earning an Associate degree in Chemical technology from the University of Toledo, Ohio.  He then studied at the University of Texas at Arlington where he earned his  B.A. in General Studies majoring in Chemistry, Microbiology and Business. After working in the Chemical field for more than 12 years, Mr. Szymanowski turned to teaching Junior High Science in the Arlington ISD.
 
He began studying Tae Kwon Do under the leadership of Master Jim Boozer and Mrs. Boozer at LAKA in January 2004 and has not looked back. He was the fifth student to earn the rank of First Dan at LAKA and enjoys teaching at all levels.  He believes it “strengthens the competitive side of most people, while adhering to our spiritual walk with God”.   Mr. "S" earned his 3rd degree black belt (Sandan) December 5, 2015.
 
Known by his students as Mr. “S”, he also enjoys woodworking, home projects and long walks with his wife, Tammy.
